This course provides advanced safeguarding training for professionals appointed as Designated Safeguarding Leads, equipping them with the knowledge and leadership skills to manage safeguarding concerns, ensure compliance, and promote a strong safeguarding culture within their organisation.

This course is suitable for senior staff, managers, safeguarding officers, team leaders, and professionals appointed as Designated Safeguarding Leads in healthcare, education, and social care settings.

Assessment: Case studies, scenario-based discussions, and written assessment
Participants will receive a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Certificate upon successful completion of the course.
The certification is valid for 1–2 years (in line with organisational policy and refresher requirements).
