Revisit the fundamental principles of Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA).
Refresh and practice de-escalation techniques and safe intervention methods.
Reinforce the correct application of physical restraints, ensuring they are used safely and ethically.
Update knowledge on legal, ethical, and organi sational guidelines related to PMVA practices.
Review risk assessment processes and strategies to prevent and manage aggressive incidents.
Participate in practical exercises to maintain confidence in applying PMVA techniques.
Ensure adherence to best practices and organisational standards in handling violence and aggression.
Target Audience:
This course is intended for healthcare professionals who have previously completed the PMVA Foundation (Safe Interventions) Course and require a refresher to maintain their skills and certification.
